Marquetry · Maker of Secret Boxes

Marquetry is a single-player puzzle game. It has no accounts, no advertising, and no analytics. Nothing you do inside a box is sent anywhere.

What stays on your device

All 100 puzzle boxes ship inside the app. Nothing is downloaded while you play, and the game makes no network requests of its own.

Your progress — which boxes you have opened, your hint credits, and whether you own the full collection — is written to a file in the app's own storage on your device. It is included in your device backup if you use one. Deleting the app deletes it. We have no copy and no way to read it.

Purchases

If you buy the full collection or a credit pack, the transaction is handled by Apple. We never see your name, card, or billing address.

To know whether a purchase succeeded and to restore it on a new device, the app uses RevenueCat, a purchase-infrastructure provider. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated identifier that is not linked to your Apple ID or to you personally, along with the purchase record and basic device and country information from Apple. This is used only to determine what you have bought. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.

What we do not do

Children

Marquetry is suitable for all ages and collects no personal information from anyone, including children under 13. It contains no ads, no chat, no user-generated content, and no links out of the game except the ones on this page.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, the CCPA, and similar laws you may request access to or deletion of personal data held about you. Because the game holds none, the practical answer is that deleting the app removes everything it stored. For the purchase record held by RevenueCat, write to the address below and we will forward the request.

Changes

If a future version of the app collects something this page does not describe, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the date below will change.
